When fully built, Dulles Station will contain a total of 2.7 million square feet including 1,095 luxury residences, 2 hotels, 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space, and 56,000 square feet of convenient retail and restaurants. Fireguard has been awarded the contract to install fire protection in two hotel buildings and two parking garages at Dulles Station.

CityCenter

Fireguard will complete the new and exciting office and condominium buildings at the CityCenter project in Washington, DC. Located on the site of the old convention center at 2.3 million square feet, the center is the city’s largest building, spanning six blocks, a distance of close to five football fields set end to end. The 10-acre mixed-use project will create a pedestrian-friendly neighborhood blending retail, entertainment, residential, and office spaces in Washington. The $700 million development has a $425 million construction cost and is considered the largest downtown development currently underway in the United States. Fireguard will install over 8,500 sprinkler heads in the buildings.

Clarendon Center

The project's south block will consist of a 12-story, 240,000-square-foot, 244-unit apartment building, a nine-story, 85,000-square-foot office building and will also feature 34,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and four levels of below-grade parking.  The project's north block will include a six-story, 98,000-square-foot office building with an additional 14,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space and three levels of below-grade parking.

Hoffman Towers

Hoffman Town Center (HTC) is the mixed-use redevelopment of 56 acres of land in historic Alexandria. Comprised of more than 7 million square feet of building area, HTC is one of the city's most significant and largest projects. When complete, it will feature: 3.5 million square feet of Class A office space in 10 buildings, 1.5 million square feet of residential space in four residential towers, two full-service hotels, 200,000 square feet of retail stores and restaurants. Fireguard will install the automatic fire protection in the signature built element of HTC, known as The Hoffman Towers, which is comprised of 3 towers of mixed-use residential and retail. The towers range from 22 to 33 stories high and the tallest tower will rise 396 feet to be the tallest building in Northern Virginia. Fireguard is excited to be a part of this large project.

Lot 31 Garage & Towers

Fireguard will install automatic fire protection in the $200 million development project in downtown Bethesda, known as Lot 31. The project will increase the area's housing, retail, and public parking options by adding two residential buildings, 42,000 square feet of retail space, and a four-level below-grade public and private parking garage that will contain approximately 950 parking spaces. Construction has begun in early 2012 and Fireguard is excited to start working on the project.

Square 54

Hailed as the "greatest development project in the Disrict [of Columbia]" by prominent city and George Washington University officials, Square 54 will transform the former site of GW Hospital, which was razed to make way for the construction of the Square 54 Complex.  A mixed-use project consisting of two buildings for residential use and a third for commercial office space, the new complex will be completed in 2011.

The Gallery of Bethesda

Ground has recently been broken at one of Fireguard’s newest projects, the Gallery of Bethesda, located near Woodmont Triangle in Downtown Bethesda. The project will replace older commercial offices with two large buildings of apartment and retail spaces.  Fireguard will install automatic fire protection in the 254,400 square foot, 17 story-tower building that will contain 234 apartments, 4,600 square foot of retail and a three-level below grade parking garage. Fireguard is excited to start working on this project.

Social Security Adminstration

The scope of work includes installation of fire protection in two office buildings, five and seven stories, connected by a seven-story atrium and a standalone parking garage that will contain over 1,000 parking spaces. Fireguard’s work totals over 850,000 square feet of the $200 million, 11-acre project located near the Reisterstown Metro Station. The new campus will be home to more than 1,600 administration employees and will replace the 30–year-old, outdated building located at Greene Street in West Baltimore. The project is designed to earn a LEED Silver certification and is expected to be completed in 2014.

The National - Brewers Hill

Construction has begun in Brewers Hill on the former National Brewery. The excitement around the construction project has been overwhelming to Canton/Brewers Hill residents, businesses and of course the ACE community. The project is a $120 million multi-stage redevelopment of one of Baltimore's most significant historic brewery complexes. The former and outdated brewery is being transformed into a thriving mixed use campus featuring traditional and new-economy Class A office space, retail shops, residential units and light industrial uses. The overall project totals 2 million square feet of mixed use retail space and is comprised of five main development phases. Fireguard is excited to begin working to install over 10,000 sprinkler heads in the apartment building.
