Fire Sprinkler Designer |
Areas of Responsibility:
- Design code-compliant and cost-efficient fire sprinkler systems for various projects (commercial, residential, warehouse, rack storage, special hazards, etc.).
- Meet contractual obligations and coordinate with other construction trades.
- Prepare material submittals, hydraulic calculations and sprinkler shop drawings.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings.
- Stay current with local and national codes governing the design and installation of fire sprinkler systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- NICET Level II or above
- 3 years experience as a sprinkler designer
- Equivalent AutoCAD experience
- HydraCAD experience preferred
- Ability to perform hydraulic calculations
- Proficient at all basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
